Yes it was very worthwhile. I gained the knowledge of another culture and got to bond with a wonderful family.

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | I saved a hundred dollars for every week and that worked out perfectly. But, in other countries that are more expensive that would not work out as nicely. |

With my host family and all of my professors at the school I spoke spanish. I used spanish every day to talk to people, however when I hung out with my friends we always spoke english since we all could. |
