Pretty safe in general, but be very beware of pick pockets. For ladies; men will often catcall, etc. which can be upsetting but rarely actually dangerous

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Take advantage of the massive "soldes" sales, don't eat out too often, travel cheap

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? You will often have no choice! But, when amongst fellow students it is very helpful to still speak in French (although English is tempting)
