What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was totally worth it! I learned how to live in a city! My first two weeks were rough, but it gets easier! I think about going back all the time.. i LOVE Barcelona!

My two week class was more of a review. But i met incredible people at the school!

I never really had to contact anyone because of a problem... but- if i needed to, I had contact information

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I had an awesome apartment! Huge for a place in the city!

* Food:

Liked the food in Barca- I missed spicy food. luckily I lived just minutes from any ethnic food i could ask for!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Barcelona nightlife is INCREDIBLE! Honestly, some of the clubs i went were similar to ones Vegas! & get used to being nocturnal- my early nights, I would be back in place at 4 am.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Like in any city you need to be on the look out. I didn't have too many problems, but I was really aware of my surrounding... I learned a lot, so happy I did it!

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

  • The people I met.... best friends I have come across yet!

  • the language course i took wasn't awesome, but i met great people at the school
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Go out as much as possible, meet as many people you can, time flies by!
