By Lauren Provo (Colorado State University) - abroad from 05/20/2018 to 06/16/2018 with
Adelante: Edinburgh - Equine Summer Program in Scotland
I learned more about my riding and in the classes I took. I also really enjoyed learning about Scotland's culture and people.

Review Your Program

The warden of the dorms was not especially helpful but all the rest of the staff were extremely lovely. |

I was happy that the rooms were singles and I was very pleasantly surprised to find that our rooms were cleaned and beds made daily. |

A Look Back
* What did you like most about the program? |
|
* What could be improved? |
|
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | I loved the opportunities to ride, but I wish I had known that it would not be very rigorous. I also wish that they would have been able to send a more updated schedule before we left for Scotland, so that better plans for free weekends or days could have been made. |
Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
