I learned so much about horses on this trip that it solidified my desire to become a vet becuase of how much i loved being around animals everyday.

There wasn't a huge workload but when things were addigned you generally had to do it within a doy or two and most of it required a bit a research. The library at Oatridge was super helpful. The teaching methods was very simliar to what we have here. We moved at a very fast pace but its was nice to have breaks in class. |

We had a small program but that worked to our advantage because we were an equine study program and having a small group size allowed us to have more hands on time with the horses. To use what we learned in class and apply to the real thing. All of our teachers were very knowledgable in what they were instructing. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I love our flats. everyone had their own personal room and bathroom. but there were 5-6 rooms to a flat with 2 flats to a floor. and a common room in each flat with a refrigerator. most of us forgot towels but we had those provided to us upon request. the beds were pretty simple with only a pillow and comforter but that was all that was neccessary becase the heaters kept the room warm |

The chefs were great, the provided all the meals with as much food as you could eat and even made aa seperate special meal for the one vegetarian in our group. They were very accomidating to us at every occassion. they would have a packed meals if we were not going to be on campus during a meal time. |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
some of the students played the bagpipes for us one nights and we were able to interact with the students of Oatridge for the first two weeks of our program. |

The fire safety drills and prevention information is everywhere we even had a fire drill on a rainy morning during breakfast. |
