What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Being able to backpack around Europe and travel around most of Ireland was a very worthwhile experience. Going abroad helped me improve many skills necessary for a successful future such as budgeting and time management.

Being able to travel around London for two days before going to Ireland was not only an amazing experience but also a great way to meet other students in the AIFS program. |

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Buy food in bulk at cheap grocery stores and set a limit to how much you spend at a pub so you don't spend to much at once. Also, don't forget about the exchange rate. What ever amount your spending is automatically going to be more in dollars. |
