What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I absolutely loved going abroad and being in London even though it was only for 6 weeks. I experienced so many different things and was able to see so much. The day I got I began missing it, and hope to experience going abraod again at some point, even if it is not to study. I met many new people from all over the United States while in London and am still in connection with them now. This was an amazing experience and I would definitely recomend it to anyone considering this program and opportunity.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I learned a lot about London as a whole as well as different aspects of minority culture.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Was very easy because it was provided to you by the program. A very nice area to live in, the better part of London. Close to two tube stops and many attractions.

A little small but overall good living situation for the time that I was abroad.

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Many discounted programs to attend, shows, trips, activities, etc. all a lot of fun!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I did not feel unsafe at any time through out the program. I was very comfortable with where I was living. Any medical problems were dealt with on a person to person basis, but there was always the proper help provided.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Approximately 50-100 pounds, depending on the activties that I decided to do throughout the week.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? The discounted activities are announced at the beginning of the three week period and you had to pay for them all at once.

Language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
