This program was incredibly worthwhile because not only did I get to learn photography, see a beautiful city, and grow as a student, but I learned about cultural differences, independence, and myself. I am confident that my resume will be boosted by this experience abroad and that I will always be able to use the skills I learned.

AIFS does a fantastic job of briefing you about safety during the orientation! I never felt unsafe, but I always kept in mind what the program leaders told us on the first day. |

The meal card provided made it easy to budget for food because I knew that I'd have money on that card. However, the area of Kensington, where we were living, is a higher priced area and you have to be aware of the conversion rate when making personal purchases. |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Budget your money before you leave for the trip and stick closely to it! But don't forget to factor in spontaneous trips into the budget so it doesn't feel like you're blowing money when you decide to take a trip to a museum or even to another country. |

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
