I met the U.S. Ambassador to Czech Republic as well as other diplomats! I met an intern at the U.S. Embassy. I created life long friendships. I tried new things and met new people!

Our dorm building was under renovations... Although, safety was 10/10 I felt very safe and secured! |

I had days where I explored all alone.. I was smart about it and made sure it was daylight, and I knew where to go with a fully charged cell phone..I also made sure to stay where families were at..I also dressed appropriately always |

Yes
Everything was perfect in my eyes! |
Finances

Breakfast was provided. I did have the funds to eat out everyday and to buy what I pleased. |

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Save before you go!! Put aside $20 or however much you can weekly once you have been accepted into the program! Eat the "free" meals offered, you paid for it in your program overall cost. Drink water, it is free and you stay hydrated after all the walking and exploring you will do. Share meals with friends and split the cost. Take your leftovers back home if possible (a meal for another time) actually go grocery shopping weekly! |
