I learned how to adapt to new cultures. I also learned how to be independent and literally find my way. It was definitely worth it. I have friends, memories, and lessons that will last a lifetime.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Classes were pretty straightforward. a group project (paper+ presentation) and a final (all free response) were typical. Good offering of business courses. However you did not know which classes you got and your schedule until arrival. |

The onsite team in Prague is AMAZING. Lots of different activities and excursions. Super accessible and helpful. Even reimbursed us for travel within the Czech Republic. |

* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I chose to live in a dorm and I had a blast. I ended up getting placed with other AIFS students but there were some other people in my program who lived with other european exchange students. Living in the dorm was the best way to get to know people from all over the world. |

The AIFS meal plan was super helpful. I was able to use the card that was replenished monthly to buy groceries and eat out at local restaurants. |

* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
It can be easy to get into a little american bubble but we had optional weekly tours of different areas of the city which helped me feel more like a local. |

* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I didn't get sick but I had friends who were easily able to get medicine and navigate a pharmacy. No vaccines needed for travel. |
| * Safety: |
Prague was so much safer than anywhere I've ever lived in the U.S. Of course you have to watch out for pick-pockets but I never once felt uneasy or unsafe - even at night. |
| If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |

The Czech Republic is very cheap compared to the U.S. so it was easy to live there, you just have to be careful about weekend trips. |
