What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Yes.

Personal Information

How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? 1 month - 6 months

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The work load was not difficult. The only challenge was getting used to having 3 hour classes (this allowed for you to only have class twice a week and the rest free to travel). The best part was taking a history course with Professor Tricoli, and getting to go to the actual buildings that we were studying.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Richmond in Rome will be your family away from home. They take care of you.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Everything was arranged for us before arriving in rome. It was a great apartment a few meters away from the Pantheon, and only a few blocks from where classes were held.

* Food:

Its Italy... come on.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Getting lost in the city (during the day) was my favorite. That's how you really get to know the culture. Piazza Novana should NOT be missed.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I ended up getting an infected cut on my leg. The Richmond office helped me to get a physician visit, and it was actually very nice to see the Italian style of health care.,

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
