Reflections on the time of my life Past Review
By Matt W (Classics and Classical Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics., University of New Mexico) - abroad from 06/10/2013 to 07/21/2013 with
AIRC: Rome - Interdisciplinary Semester in Italy
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
This program offers a perfect opportunity for any student wishing to further, or even begin, a classical studies or archeology degree. The first week of instruction provides an in-depth tour around Rome lead by serious scholars. The remaining 5 weeks offer a unique opportunity for first-time students to gain invaluable archeological training. The instructors take a step-by-step approach to teaching the skills necessary to be successful archeologists. I highly recommend this program to anyone who wishes to pursue a career in classical studies or archeology.
