About
The Faculty of Law at the University of Oslo is the oldest and largest educational and research law institution in Norway. The Law School educates students in multiple disciplines, from more traditional areas of law to modern issues in Environmental Law and eCommerce.
Additionally, the Faculty has well established areas of law research in Criminology, Sociology of the Law, and Human Rights and Development as well as housing the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights and the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law. Exchange students can take classes in areas including human rights law, environmental law, intellectual property law and criminal law.
The program is offered in both the spring and fall semesters.
Fall: August - December
Spring: January - June
The official language of study is Norwegian. However, many courses within the faculty of law are taught in English.
