I got the flu during the second or third week of my program and I was taking care of right away. My Program Director, Reka, took me to the American hospital and I was covered by the API insurance. |

The Hungarian Forint was a bit confusing at first but once you figure out how to convert it you find out everything is very cheap. |

No one outside of Hungary speaks Hungarian, so the program knows that there wasn't much incentive to learn the language. |

| Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? | I listened to an audio tape before I left but the words look completely different than what they sound like, so I would suggest to try to learn the alphabet before you leave. |
