Budapest is a LOVELY city! Just magical for students, i is cheap, incredibly easy to walk around, and the options to explore coffee shops, little bars, museums, art galleries, concerts, walks everything is endless! Fell in love with it and its people (though at the beginning they may seem harsh, they are truly wonderful). The program was very well organized and the resident mentors are wonderful!

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Look at skyscanner.com and click the option to go "anywhere" on a certain dates if you are looking to travel! Cook in your house if you can, and always ask locals where to eat for cheap and good! Also, make sure you always have cash in the currency of the country you go to (especially in Eastern Europe) as they do not accept cash everywhere you go, and finding an ATM or exchange place is hard. Have a universal adaptor that regulates voltage everywhere, and always keep a good cellphone on!
