What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I managed to spend wisely for the most part- I was always frugal but I managed to spend money while not spending too much. I also gained a sense of international culture by traveling to different countries and broadening my horizons.

The way that classes were taught was different from America which made it difficult but also an exciting challenge.

The country overall is a very safe environment and I faced few problems.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

The locals were very friendly which really helped with the integration into the country. I felt less like a stranger and more like someone who hadn't been home in a long time.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Depended on the week- from $20-$100
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? It's easy to save money if you plan well about trips and expenses. Sometimes I would spend extra money because I wasn't thinking about other ways to save. It's easy if you take the time to do it.
