Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
There was more than I expected. I had 20 hours of class a week and most of the time I had something to read / look at during the night, but it took no more than an hour to do. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
I wish that the organizers that I had would have been more organized on the field trips. They didn't have a backup plan if something went wrong. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
|
* Food: |
I am a vegetarian, my host mom would always joke around with me but she was super accommodating, which I appreciated. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
La Alhambra, Sierra Nevadas, Monachil hiking trails, Madrid, Lagos, Rome, everything! |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
I felt super safe there, I guess we always had a buddy with at night, so I never really walked alone. A good friend of mine lived right across the river from me, so we would walk home together every night. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
