It was definitely worth the time and money. It gave a big idea of who I will be competing against in the art world.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I liked being in London and some of the classes were fun, but i didn't really learn that much.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Our administrator was so helpful and kind. It was like having a family member.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Amazing. We lived with students our age who were able to show us the entrainment for the younger crowds.

* Food:

The food in London is not as bad a everyone says. I found the country to be more vegetarian friendly than i expected.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

There were forms to fill out to make sure you got at least minimal coverage while you were there

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Things were not too expensive in London but because of the exchange rate it make it seem like it was. I spent between 100-250 a week. That included transportation, food and entertainment. The first few weeks money flies but then you learn to be smart. If you go food shopping instead of eating out you save way more money.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Learn to take the bus because it is cheaper. And if you live somewhere that has a kitchen use it because food shopping saves you tons of money.
