London Past Review
By Casey W (Communication and Media Studies., University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse) for
API (Academic Programs International): London - University of Westminster
It was nice to travel in other countries and learn the culture. I am now interested in more abroad experiences.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Grading was harder but not by much. The workload was more project based and I was able to use my tourism activities toward my projects. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Our leader was the best! Our assistant was too! I would recommend API to everyone! |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
|
* Food: |
I spent too much money on food but London is all around expensive. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Trips with API were great but trips with the U were not good at all. Westminster trips were unorganized and unentertaining. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
|
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
