API (Academic Programs International): London - University of Westminster

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was nice to travel in other countries and learn the culture. I am now interested in more abroad experiences.

Personal Information

How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? 0-2 weeks

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Grading was harder but not by much. The workload was more project based and I was able to use my tourism activities toward my projects.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Our leader was the best! Our assistant was too! I would recommend API to everyone!

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

I spent too much money on food but London is all around expensive.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Trips with API were great but trips with the U were not good at all. Westminster trips were unorganized and unentertaining.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
