Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The workload was doable. I still had plenty of time to hang out with friends and explore London. For the amount of credit I received, I did significantly less work than I would at KSU. I liked that the class sizes were small and our teacher allowed us to just talk and ask questions along the way.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Everything was organized and everyone seemed to be knowledgeable about everything. Whenever I had a question, I felt very comfortable going and asking someone who was in charge.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I liked that our housing was outside the main part of London. It felt safe and still had everything we needed close by,without all the traffic and business.

* Food:

It was pretty much just like America, only more expensive.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Boat trips are the best! Best sites at night by far!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Remember that they drive on the opposite side of the road, so triple check for cars before crossing the road.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 150-200
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Cook for yourself! You save soooo much money. Also, walk rather than use the tube. You see more than dark tunnels this way, and save money :)

Language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
