Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
It was easier than University of Texas. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
They were very helpful and nice and were easily available |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Palacio Barradas. Calle San Bernando Madrid.

. This was a very large residencia and I enjoyed it a lot. They prepared meals everyday for you and they do your laundry and it would be done the next day (ironed as well). Your beds were made everday as well. Also it was close to the center of madrid.It was the best way to meet spanish kids around your age and it helps if you are trying to learn spanish. I would definitely recommend it |
* Food: |
The food was pretty good. At times it was bland but overall it was satisfactory. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
The program takes you to many different places all over Spain and one trip to Rome. All the trips were awesome and they put us in nice hotels and give you a packet of places to go and eat and party that students have recommended in the past. It is very helpful. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
I felt safe in madrid and was never worried about health issues. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
No
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Europe is expensive and you are going to spend money if you want to travel and have a good time. Look for certain student deals if there are any and find a cheap hostel (that has good reviews) and stay there instead of a hotel. |
Language
