A sense of independence and open-mindedness. Thisbwas worthwhile because now I am self-reliant and have a greater understanding of various cultures.

Nebrija is a great school and the Spanish language program is one of the best in my opinion.

Finances

Food is very cheap in Madrid, and depending on the activities you choose to do you can spend $100 or less a week on food plus travels.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Try to cook as much as you can if possible. There are a lot of free events/places that take place, go to them! Especially if you are on a budget and don’t want to spend money every week to have fun.
