Take Me Back Roma Past Review
By Mary M (Marketing, Quinnipiac University) for
API (Academic Programs International): Rome - John Cabot University
I learned about other cultures and people-- not only Italians but the Americans I was living with and interacting with. Those experiences helped me earn about myself and I now see things so differently than before.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Academically, JCU was much different than Quinnipiac. It was about 1/6th of the size and didn't offer nearly as many sections of classes or different types of classes as QU. But I was able to take the same courses I would have taken at QU for my spring semester. There wasn't as much academic support as I was used to, but I was taking much more difficult classes than most study abroad students take. It's an American university, but don't expect it to be exactly like your home university. Overall, it was a positive experience with JCU. |
