Awesome study abroad program Past Review
By A student (Brandeis University) - abroad from 06/11/2019 to 07/12/2019 with
Aquincum Institute of Technology / AIT - Budapest: - Creativity in Computer Science & Software Engineering
I learned a lot about living independently in a country without having any knowledge of the Hungarian language. The language barrier did help me develop social skills (speaking, body language, etc.) I also made new friends with different backgrounds during the program, which is always amazing.

Excellent and challenging course (Mobile Software Development). Able to learn a lot in a relatively short amount of time. |

Great and very helpful! |

No air-conditioning in the apartment which can be hot in the summer, but other than that everything is provided. |

Delicious and relatively cheap food. |

Insurance (both local health one and international travel one) was provided and instructed clearly by the program. |

Did not encounter any alarming situations. The city is relatively safe, but in crowded, touristy areas just stay alarmed as you should. |

Yes
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, because of both the incredibly helpful study abroad program (including great professor, staffs, and coursework) and the amazing European culture (cuisine, history, arts, etc.) |

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
Budapest is definitely a relatively cheap place to live, but expensive restaurants do exist. |
