Eager to gain skills and experience of the world of work while abroad? The Athens Internship could be perfect for you. You’ll spend six hours a week in your placement and enjoy seminar sessions designed to give time to discuss and reflect on your experience and how to adapt that experience in the future. You’ll also create a term project and spend time getting to know this magnetic country, its people and its unrivaled culture and heritage.

You will take the Internship Cornerstone course, Work in Thought and Action, or for economic internship placements, Economic Work in thought and Action, along with courses through the Arcadia in Greece program This includes liberal arts electives from a range of subjects, such as Greek history, archaeology, philosophy, photography, political science and the economic crisis.

Arcadia Scholarships

Arcadia aims to help students for whom financial assistance can mean the difference between participating on an Arcadia program and staying home. Arcadia scholarships are awarded to eligible applicants based on need. Approximately 70% of study abroad students who apply for aid from Arcadia receive some form of award

$250-$2,500

Applications are received on a rolling basis.

Guidelines/Requirements:
Only students who have been accepted to a program from Arcadia Abroad will be considered for an award.
