What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned that there is much more to a person than religion or politics. I gained a cultural experience that I wouldn't have been able to receive anywhere else.

South Africa was amazing. There was such much history and culture right at my fingertips. The classes were challenging and thought-provoking and the locals were awesome.
