Arcadia: Coding Internship Program

This is a real-world, work-experience preparation program in web development and design consisting of two six-week blocks. You’ll gain hands-on, technical skills that will boost your resume and set you apart in the eyes of future employers! By program’s conclusion, you’ll be thinking like a professional software engineer with the ability to create scalable web applications. Weeks one through six are instruction in front-end web development skills, during which you’ll create two major projects to build your portfolio, for a total of 8 credits. During the second block, you’ll complete a virtual internship placement in London, Dublin or Edinburgh and a supporting four-credit course. Your internship placement will involve ~10 hours spent working synchronously with your placement site (your “home office”) and ~10 hours of self-directed project work. In addition you take an optional four-credit Arcadia elective course for a full semester’s credit (16 total). WHY ARCADIA?
