|
* Host Country Program Administration

* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I was very grateful to receive University housing that was close by. However, we had a mouse problem that we repeatedly reported and nothing was done. |
* Food: |
|
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
The University of Edinburgh has many students from around the world, but a large percentage of those students are from England, not Scotland. I didn't meet many Scottish people in my classes, or learn much about Scottish culture while in Edinburgh |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I cut my finger open while doing dishes, and it was very easy to get to a clinic, see a doctor, and get stitches at no cost. |
* Safety: |
|
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |

|
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Edinburgh is a wonderful city, but since it's so international (especially the University) there is not as much Scottish culture as I would have liked. |
