My study abroad experience was absolutely worthwhile. If you have the opportunity to go, definitely do it, you won't get a chance like this again.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
|
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Our program did a very good job with keeping in touch with us. They frequently emailed us about trips, updates, and on-campus news. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I lived in a 5-person apartment in Gort na Coiribe. My direct roommate was American, and my other 3 roommates with Irish girls. I loved everything about the apartment complex. Its a 10/15 minute walk to school and about a 20 minute walk into town.

Awesome |
* Food: |
The food was fine, basically the same as the food at home. We cooked at the apartment most of the time, but ordered take-out a lot towards the end of the semester. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
|
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
|
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
No
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |

A Look Back
