A Look Back
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Be open, embrace the differences. The minute I stopped comparing everything to the USA is when I really began to embrace the Irish culture and enjoy my experience abroad. A fun, adventurous, outgoing, sociable student would be a best fit for Galway. The pubs are a huge part of the culture, so if you do not like going out and listening to live music, or having a pint, it is not the place for you. The Irish are very relaxed, easy going people, so if you are really intense about your studies, it is not the place to be. |
