About

This is a four-week summer experience in colorful, culturally rich Havana, Cuba, consisting of a Spanish course and a course in US-Cuba Relations. This unique and life-changing program is  full of experiential learning opportunities under the auspices of the University of Havana and its Centro de Estudios Hemisfericos y sobre Estados Unidos (CEHSEU - Center for Hemispheric and U.S. Studies). All courses are taught in English except for the Spanish language classes.

You’ll enjoy unique island culture with an easygoing attitude and friendly, fascinating people. It’s a totally different, less connected experience than you’re used to, but it will bring unexpected joys and rewards. Living in central Havana’s Vedado neighborhood, you’ll enjoy proximity to your university, along with local student hangouts, cafes and music venues.
