The workload was bearable. Enough to keep you busy when you had nothing else to do, but definitely didn't take away from any experiences you could have had. |

Way too many to recount, but Umbra Institute does organize field trips with certain classes which are really insightful and absolutely worthwhile. |

Being such a small city, Perugia was relatively safe as far as any Italian city goes. You get to know most of the locals and they get to know you during your stay so not much to worry about there. I recommend bringing medicine such as advil or sudafed because it is relatively expensive at the local pharmacies. |
