Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Great location, no AC but that's normal for London.

* Food:

I did not have a meal plan so I had to buy groceries or go out to eat.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I did not need to use it but it was great to be given health care.

* Safety:

There were 2 terrorist attacks when we were going here but Arcadia handled it well.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

There were so many mini events that Arcadia offered, pub clubs, street art tours, free food events, free tickets to a musical, tickets to the shard, tickets to Tower of London, etc.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

I brought over $1000 worth of British currency so $750 pounds and I had the perfect amount of money.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I had no meal plan so probably $100 or more on food depending.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Go grocery shopping and try to set aside a certain amount each week or for certain categories.
