So many life skills, problem solving, travel logistics, coping with issues and learning how to manage everything, cooking, safety, transportation...etc.

I was studying with two of my best friends and direct enrollment was a great cultural experience. Living in a big city was something new and really eye opening to how a huge part of the world functions.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

I focussed a lot on financials and didn't eat out really.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 160
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Oktoberfest is expensive. Book places to stay in advance. Cover fees to get into clubs add up. Buying drinks at the clubs and not drinking before is way more money.

A social butterfly, you're happiest in bustling cities with hip people, and took advantage of all it had to offer. You enjoyed the nightlife, and had fun going out dancing, and socializing with friends. Fun-loving and dressed to the nines, you enjoyed discovering new restaurants, shops, cafes, and bars in your host country.

Comments: Would not recommend--grading unfair and not helpful course for a student who hadn't studied philosophy before. Note that I rarely attended this class.

Comments: Awesome class. Visited museums the whole time, and had interesting assignments. Take this class if you go to King's.
