What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained lots of experience in various life skills, such as independence, financial skills such as budgeting, and also developing a work-life balance. It was the most worthwhile experience of my college career.

This experience gave me such a depth and insight into London, and allowed me to grow so much academically and personally. I grew in confidence in my abilities to navigate a new city, meet new people, integrate and immerse myself in a new culture, and travel.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Finding ways to cook meals with other students to save money, communal meals were tremendously helpful. Also finding ways to utilize the grocery stores and other local options.
