I really enjoyed the city and the types of entertainment available. I think my educational experience has prepared me for graduate school.

Review Your Program
|
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The writing and course load was intense, getting adjusted to the 3.5 hour classes were a struggle for me. |
|
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
I had a few mistakes with my schedule but they had one administrator doing a lot of tasks. I felt really bad because she was overworked they should hire her an assistant. |

Finances
|
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
The cost of living was much higher there because the US dollar is only worth 63 cents compared to the pound. I had work and school 5 days a week so I spent a lot of money for daily travel 86 pounds= $130 a month. Plus food and entertainment |
| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | 40 pounds |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | I would recommend cooking most of your meals and buying toiletries in bulk. Look for places to eat out and other entertainment that have student discounts. |

Reasons For Studying Abroad
| To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
