Overall Experience
The intricacies of UK social and business culture. - Trinity University View Entire Review
I became more independent - Providence College View Entire Review
I learned a lot from my courses and internship but the most valuable things I took away from my experience was from traveling and learning how to navigate in unfamiliar cities. I came home with a sense of independence and greater appreciation for other cultures. - Providence College View Entire Review
I learned how to be self-reliant while traveling around a foreign country. I learned about other cultures I hadn't experienced before. It was definitely worthwhile! - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
I learned a lot about the difference in culture even though there was no significant language barrier. It was really eye opening to immerse myself into the culture through my internship and studies. - Providence College View Entire Review
It was absolutely worth while. I learned that I want to work in the UK if ever I'm given the opportunity. I also learned a lot within the department of finance through my internship. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
Definitely worthwhile. I feel like I have seen the world from a whole new pair of eyes. Very inspiring and educating. - The Catholic University of America View Entire Review
I definitely gained more independence. The combination of a fairly hands-off program with the long commute to work and a constant eye on the budget made for a very grown-up experience. I kind of feel like I've graduated already now that I'm so used to city livin' - Providence College View Entire Review
Extremely. Although I had many complaints about the program that I chose (not the internship aspect, but Arcadia), I got out of the trip exactly what I wanted to. Sometimes you have to move passed the inconveniences and make the trip what you want it to be. - Austin College View Entire Review
Being obsessed with advertising, working in marketing in a different country was astounding. The insight I was able to gain into my passion was unbelievable and I believe that I am a different person for it. - Providence College View Entire Review
Definitely worthwhile, if only because I had to deal with awful staff. But the four days a week I didn't have to deal with Arcadia were always fantastic. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
I would have picked a different program, but at the same time, I am very glad that I studied abroad. Even if I didn't gain as much as I wanted out of Arcadia, I learned a lot about myself, and that made the experience worthwhile. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
I sought work experience, and I got it. As a bonus, I enjoyed what I did and the people I worked with. Participating in this program made me consider working and/or going to graduate school in the UK. I had never considered the idea of grad school in a foreign country before. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
How to adapt and love in a foreign country! Definitely worthwhile, I was able to have a blast all over Europe with American students from all over. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
A sense of independence. - Providence College View Entire Review
It was the most worthwhile experience of my life thus far. I gained an international working experience along with confidence to understand and take on life's greatest challenges. I have a global perspective on life after traveling throughout Europe and experiencing the many different cultures. - Providence College View Entire Review

I learned a lot about a culture I had no knowledge on. I learned independence and confidence. I am more comfortable with doing things by myself now. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
Regardless of how I felt about my study abroad program, the experience was without a doubt worthwhile. These have been the best and most exciting four months of my life. Taking a step outside of the United States really makes you put everything into perspective and you realize how much is really out there to see and explore. ... - Providence College View Entire Review
