What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned that there is a completely different world out, and that although people grew up in different environments they are essentially human beings, and they have similar experiences you can share. It was one of the most worthwhile things I have ever done.

It was great! Attending an English university really helped integrate the experience.

I fractured my leg abroad and the English health care system was really helpful in providing the resources necessary for me to be on the mend again.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

England was very expensive especially since I lived on an American student budget not an English student one.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Realize about how much you spend weekly in the first few weeks and try to manage your money until the last week you will be there without over spending in the beginning.
