What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained a lot of research skills which will be applicable for future jobs and graduate schools as well a sense of confidence in semi-independent research. I believe the program is definitely worthwhile.

  • program management and coordination between the Royal Veterinary College, we didn't always know what was expected of us or who we would need to contact
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? The way you will be working and researching is highly variable and lab-specific. The experience ( work hours, effort, and mentorship) will vary among the other students on the program.
