What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was absolutely worthwhile. I learned a lot about myself and my independence, and I made so many new friends and memories.

* Host Country Program Administration

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I was traveling in Northern Ireland and I needed an antibiotic urgently. I called the number that Arcadia gave us in case of emergencies, they scheduled a virtual call with a doctor the same day and I was able to get medication prescribed for the following day pick-up. It was super easy and very quick, even being away from my home city.

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

London was a great home base, super easy and cheaper flights to and from surrounding countries. Super safe, clean, and no language barrier so I never felt out of place.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 200+
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I think it is worth it to spend the money because most people only have this opportunity to see the world once, but I would say cook as much as you can at home and stay in hostels/air bnbs
