Learning about Life Down Under Past Review
By Elyssa B (Accounting, Bryant University) for
Arcadia: Sydney - University of Sydney
I learned so much about myself and becoming more independent while I was abroad. I learned a lot about travelling alone and with new people. I learned a lot about the culture from the Australians that I lived with and went to class with. I would not ever give up my entire experience for anything, and am so glad I was able to participate in this program.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The grading system was much more difficult than at Bryant. In class sizes of 200-300 students everyone is graded on a bell cureve. Lectures were much larger than students at Bryant are used to, but tutorials that met once a week are about the same size as classes at Bryant. The workload wasn't consistent but was heavy during exam periods. |
