Spend your summer studying in one of Latin America's most beautiful cities, Valparaíso, at the innovative Pontifica Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV), which offers a variety of Spanish language and culture courses depending on your level of Spanish. Learn about the culture, history, communities, and landscapes of Chile. PUCV offers two five-week sessions- you can participate in one or both sessions. Two semesters of college-level Spanish are required.
Homestays with local Chilean families is one of the program’s highlights, as it helps you immerse yourself in the local culture and practice your Spanish language skills.

Arcadia Scholarships
Arcadia aims to help students for whom financial assistance can mean the difference between participating on an Arcadia program and staying home. Arcadia scholarships are awarded to eligible applicants based on need. Approximately 70% of study abroad students who apply for aid from Arcadia receive some form of award

Applications are received on a rolling basis.
Guidelines/Requirements:
Only students who have been accepted to a program from Arcadia Abroad will be considered for an award.
