Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The academic experience is what you make of it. I had considerable scheduling difficulty. However, the university is highly regarded and does offer challenging classes, if you can get into them.

Arcadia had a student representative in York who was helpful and easy to reach.

* Housing:

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

The health centre on campus met all of my needs.

* Safety:

Although York is a city, it is relatively safe.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

York is considerably cheaper than London, and there were many bargain options available. However, campus social life revolves around going out, and this can add up.
