What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned the unique and praised AA method, that is the approach the school takes to design. I also made friends from all over the world. Definitely worthwhile, socially, academically, and professionally.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • Your classmates will be from everywhere in the world.
  • The classes offer a lot of freedom with which to explore the design process.
  • World famous people come to the school to lecture often.
* What could be improved?
  • A list of courses available for the semester would nice to see soon after or before applying, so that students can pass this information onto their host universities earlier. This is a minor inconvenience though, and may be the same or similar with every program to which a student applies via direct enrollment.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Experience with the architectural software 'Rhino' will be beneficial prior to enrolling in the program
