The semester is organized by Kasetsart University, a state-owned university, which is regularly ranked in the top 5 among Thailand's 150 universities. This traditional university was formed in 1943. The aim of the International Engineering and Economics Programs are to deepen students' knowledge of their field while giving it also a specifically Asian focus and perspective. Students also learn Thai and interact with local students and other exchange students. Students earn up to 20 US credits per semester.
