What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained knowledge of public health as well as a better understanding of the spanish medical system. I learned about the day to day life of physicians and about specific specialties I may pursue later in my career.

I had the most amazing summer abroad with the Atlantis Project. It was the perfect combination of my love for Spanish Culture and Medical interests.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Eat at the hospital and cook in your dorms with the other fellows to save money!

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I had known to stay after and travel on my own with the friends I had made. I would have loved a bit more time to explore the country I had been living in.
