About

Baldwin Wallace University students visits Japan for a two-week faculty-led study abroad program exploring psychology, religion and cross-cultural connection. Led by BW Professors Dr. Stephanie Rothman (Psychology) and Dr. Ellen Posman (Religion), the program immerses students in Kyoto and beyond—where ancient traditions and modern life blend in fascinating ways.

During their time abroad, students:

• Explore how culture shapes emotions, beauty and beliefs
• Visit sacred sites and participate in Buddhist and Shinto practices
• Meet with local university students and experience everyday Japanese life
