Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

There is a meal plan, so I didn't need to buy anything. Otherwise food in berlin is cheap and accessible and delicious

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Please get a card/bank that has minimal fees for cash withdrawal abroad, Berlin is a big cash city, rarely are cards accepted, either take a lot of cash with you before hand or make sure atm fees won't overwhelm you

There are German courses but classes taught in english and most people in Berlin speak english. Learn some phrases but also not necessary
