What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My study abroad experience was extremely worthwhile. It gave me world experience, enhanced my foreign language ability, as well as gave me confidence in unfamiliar experiences. Past all this I was able to visit places with great historical significance, experience an entirely new culture, as well as make new friends from across the world.

| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | Each meal could be around 20 kuai (around $3) and cheaper variations could easily be found (roughly $1). |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | In the first few weeks of being there it is easy to spend money because things are so inexpensive relative to American prices, however make sure to be wary of how much you are spending! |
