Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The emphasis wasn't as much on academic, but the classes were still interesting. Mostly, I focused on traveling throughout Israel. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Sometimes they were not as available as I would have liked. They also did not notify me of a meeting for a possible internship so I didn't show up and looked bad. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I lived in a dorm with 3 Israeli roommates--it was great!

It was a lot of fun, I was close to all my American friends but also got to live and spend time with Israelis. |
* Food: |
We had a kitchen in the dorms and my friends and I would all cook for each other regularly. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
So much fun! |

Yes
|

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Budget yourself, try not to eat out too much |

Language acquisition improvement? |
I think my language skill improved greatly because of my semester Hebrew course. I got a lot of personal attention and was forced to speak in Hebrew a lot. |
